Scenario: ABC Company used UKG for core HR, Fidelity for 401(k), Optum for (flexible spending accounts) FSAs, UnitedHealthcare for medical, and several other health and welfare vendors. Because the systems did not talk to each other, HR re-entered every new hire and pay change in multiple places, leading to delays and errors.
Our approach: We mapped the systems and defined simple, 360-degree data flows so updates happen once and propagate—for example, a new hire entered in UKG auto-creates in Fidelity, and a 401(k) change in Fidelity flows back to UKG for the correct payroll deductions. We then coordinated vendors to configure and test the automations, documented a lightweight governance model (owners, timing, exceptions), and trained HR to run and monitor the setup day to day—no engineering required.
Outcome: Single updates flow to all systems. Fewer manual touches, fewer errors, and smoother employee experience.
